The morning games weren’t particularly kind to the Detroit Lions. The Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings both decisively, moving the Packers to 2-1 and the Vikings to 3-0.
With Detroit sitting at 1-1, they won’t be able to climb atop the NFC North by the end of Week 3, but they don’t want to fall two games behind. Between them and a 2-1 start to the season lies the similarly 1-1 Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals boast one of the most hot and fun offenses in the league through two weeks, which should give Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn a handful.
