HOUSTON -- For the second time in less than a decade, the Detroit Lions are going through a “full rebranding” that includes changes to their logo, font and uniforms.
The Lions unveiled an updated logo and new font online today, and the team said in a released statement that uniform changes are coming this spring.
“The updated logo and new typeface revealed online this morning are elements of a full rebranding which includes the removal of black from our brand identity,” the team-issued statement read. “The rebrand will culminate with the unveiling of all new uniforms on April 13.
