As teams around the NFL follow the Detroit Lions’ lead in cancelling practice for a day of reflection and potentially action in today’s currently climate, the Lions will return to the practice field Thursday morning for their eighth practice of training camp.
Lions head coach Matt Patricia already indicated to media that four players will be doing very little work today: tight end Hunter Bryant, running backs D’Andre Swift and Bo Scarbrough and defensive lineman Da’Shawn Hand.
The rest of the Lions roster will be out there on a hot, sunny morning getting ready for their Week 1 opener, which is now just 17 days away.
