We’re ramping up to Friday’s scrimmage at Ford Field for the “Family Fest.” It’s a cool annual tradition where the rookies get their first taste of playing at Ford Field, while the fans get a free chance to watch their team play on their home field. The practice has a higher intensity and more game-like feel than a normal training camp session, which is good for everyone involved.
But before we get there, it’s Day 7 of Detroit Lions training camp and we’re on site at Allen Park to take note of Thursday’s happenings at practice.
