The battle for the No. 2 cornerback position has been a huge talking point this offseason and throughout training camp, and it appears some have forgotten about Lawson with Teez Tabor and DeShawn Shead receiving some praise as of late. However, don’t forget about Lawson, who is still in the thick of it, and is trying to rebound from a disappointing season last year.
During Saturday’s scrimmage, Lawson played extremely well and was very sticky in coverage, including a play where he made a nice deflection on a pass intended for Kenny Golladay from Matthew Stafford.
