The Detroit Lions overhauled their tight end room in a big way this offseason, adding four new players through free agency or the draft. On the final day of the offseason program Thursday, they got rid of one of their few holdovers at the position.
The Lions traded tight end Michael Roberts to the New England Patriots for a conditional 2020 seventh-round pick.
