Detroit Lions trade OL Corey Robinson to Panthers for draft pick

Tyrell Crosby won the Detroit Lions' swing tackle job with a strong training camp, and the rookie's emergence was enough to convince general manager Bob Quinn to do away with one of his more veteran insurance policies on the offensive line.

The Lions traded Corey Robinson to the Carolina Panthers before Saturday's 4 p.m. roster cut deadline for a future draft pick.
