The Detroit Lions will have to wait a little bit longer to get one of their top free agent additions on the field.
The Lions will place cornerback Emmanuel Moseley on the physically unable to perform list, Lions coach Dan Campbell said before the start of training camp Sunday.
Moseley, who signed a one-year deal as part of the revamped Lions secondary this offseason, tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee last fall. He was a limited participant in offseason workouts, taking some reps in walk-through drills with the first-team defense, but the Lions left the spring hoping to have Moseley on the field early this summer.
