Three offseason questions facing the Detroit Lions:
How good will run game be?
It’s bound to be better than it was last year, when the Lions ranked dead last in the run. The team has invested plenty of resources to make sure the run game improves. They signed free agent LeGarrette Blount, a former New England Patriot fresh off a Super Bowl victory with the Philadelphia Eagles. They drafted two offensive linemen, including Arkansas center Frank Ragnow in the first round, to beef up the disappointing unit. In the second round, they drafted Auburn running back Kerryon Johnson, who is the kind of between-the-tackles runner the Lions have been missing in short-yardage situations.
