OK, it’s not really the Super Bowl. It’s the Pro Bowl. But, since the Lions have never actually played in a Super Bowl, the Pro Bowl is the next best thing because it features the word Bowl and two Lions this year: Darius Slay and injury substitute T.J. Lang.
So the Lions will kick off their Super Bowl on Sunday, when the NFL’s annual all-star showcase and snooze fest will be “played” in Orlando, Fla.
