DETROIT -- No team had surrendered more sacks coming into this week's games than the San Francisco 49ers and the Detroit Lions managed to get home on quarterback Blaine Gabbert three times in the 32-17 victory. Surprisingly, none of those sacks belonged to Ezekiel Ansah.
Ansah entered the contest tied for second in the NFL with 13.5 sacks. He did generate some heavy pressure against the 49ers, but Gabbert managed to accomplish something many opposing quarterbacks have been unable to do this season -- escape Ansah's grasp on more than one occasion.
"He's a shifty quarterback," defensive end Devin Taylor said.
