Detroit Lions stock watch: Ameer Abdullah, offensive line struggles

Three Detroit Lions who helped their stock in Friday’s 30-17 loss to the Giants:

QB Jake Rudock

Rudock was nothing special in his two series of action in the second quarter, but he played well leading the Lions’ hurry-up offense when he returned in the fourth quarter after starting the second half on the bench. Rudock finished 23 of 30 passing for 171 yards, and he led both of the Lions’ touchdown drives. As Matt Patricia said about the backup quarterback race on Friday, there's still "a long way to go."

RB Theo Riddick

I'll be the first to admit I don't understand what Patricia was doing with his running back rotation on Friday.
