The Detroit Lions announced on Tuesday that they have signed veteran defensive tackle Kyle Peko. They also confirmed the previously reported signing of safety C.J. Moore to a one-year deal.
Peko, who will turn 31 before the season begins, has bounced around five different teams since entering the NFL. Most recently, he started 10 games for the Tennessee Titans last year, after a previous one-year stint with the Titans in 2021. That’s an important connection because, in Tennessee, he was under defensive line coach Terrell Williams, who was hired by the Lions to the same position this offseason.
