The Detroit Lions made tough decisions at long snapper and punter Saturday, but the competition for those spots isn't over yet.
The Lions re-signed long snapper Steve Wirtel and punter Arryn Siposs to their practice Sunday, a day after both were waived as part of the cut down to 53 players.
Don Muhlbach edged Wirtel for the long snapper job, and Jack Fox beat out Siposs to be the Lions punter.
In all, the Lions signed 16 players to their practice squad, every one of which was previously on their roster.
