The Detroit Lions announced on Wednesday that they have signed former Cleveland Browns and New York Giants wide receiver Damion Ratley.
Ratley was a 2018 sixth-round pick by the Cleveland Browns back when John Dorsey was their general manager. Dorsey, of course, is now a senior personnel executive for the Lions, so he’s likely scouted Ratley quite heavily. After two years in Cleveland, he was waived at the beginning of the 2020 season. From there, he spent a month with the Giants and the rest of the season on the Texans’ practice squad.
