The post-draft roster building has begun for the Detroit Lions. On Thursday morning, the team announced they have signed free agent defensive tackle Darius Kilgo.
Kilgo was a 2015 sixth-round pick for the Denver Broncos. In two years with Denver, Kilgo made 18 game appearances and tallied 11 tackles.
From there, he did the rounds of Bill Belichick-influenced defenses, as both the Patriots and Titans looked to Kilgo as potential nose tackle depth. He didn’t play a down for New England, spending most of his time on the practice squad.
