The Detroit Lions have signed versatile defensive lineman Datone Jones to help their ailing defensive front.
Jones, who can play either tackle or end, spent the last four seasons with the Green Bay Packers before signing with the Minnesota Vikings as a free agent this spring.
He was released by the Vikings with an injury settlement last month after battling a shoulder injury in training camp.
