The Detroit Lions have the day off, but there’s never a day off for general manager Bob Quinn. Monday morning the team announced a couple roster moves to start the week.
First, the Detroit Lions have signed former AAF cornerback Jamar Summers.
After playing at UConn in college, Summers went undrafted in 2018 but signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He did not end up making their squad, but soon found a job with the Alliance of American Football, playing for the Birmingham Iron.
Birmingham Iron CB Jamar Summers should be the early leader for @TheAAF defensive MVP.
