The Lions have their veteran defensive tackle to add to the rotation, and he comes with ties to Matt Patricia.
Detroit has signed Ricky Jean-Francois, per multiple reports. The 10-year veteran has bounced around the league as a rotational run stuffer, most recently with the Patriots, where he played six games with one start for Detroit's new coach.
This is the Lions' second reported signing of the day, joining tight end Luke Willson.
