Quintez Cephus wasn’t the only Detroit Lions draft pick to put pen to paper on Wednesday. Lions fifth-round pick Jason Huntley also signed his rookie contract, per his Instagram page.
“It’s official,” Huntley wrote in his post, followed by the hashtags #FamilyTies #OnePride.
The former New Mexico State running back will now enter a heated running back competition that includes second-round pick D’Andre Swift, 2018 second-round pick Kerryon Johnson, Bo Scarbrough and Ty Johnson.
Huntley brings incredible athleticism and speed to the Lions, and could even be in play for the returner job.
