The Detroit Lions already feeble pass rush took another shot Wednesday when defensive end Romeo Okwara suffered a groin injury late in practice.
Okwara did not practice Thursday, leaving his status for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears in jeopardy.
Okwara led the Lions with 7.5 sacks last season but has been quiet so far this year with just a half sack.
The Lions have the lowest pass-rush win rate in the NFL, according to ESPN, and rank 27th with 14 sacks through eight games.
