If stay-at-home restrictions impact their ability to host a regular training camp, the Detroit Lions have another option.
Pro Football Talk reported Tuesday that the Lions are one of two teams to receive a proposal about moving training camp to The Greenbrier resort in West Virginia, along with the Carolina Panthers.
The Lions declined comment when asked about their plans for camp Wednesday.
Cam Huffman, director of public relations and content for The Greenbrier, said in a statement emailed to the Free Press, "The Greenbrier has been contacted by several NFL teams interested in using The Greenbrier Sports Performance Center, our state-of-the-art football training facility, as part of their contingency plans for Training Camp.
