ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions have a heated battle going for their fourth and potentially fifth wide receiver spots, where a hodgepodge of TJ Jones, Jace Billingsley and Jared Abbrederis are trading quality reps in an effort to convince the team to keep them.
The No. 3 receiver spot has been somewhat up for grabs, too, as Jones and third-round rookie Kenny Golladay have been splitting first-team reps. But the understanding is that Golladay's roster spot is obviously secure.
You hear little about Marvin Jones and Golden Tate competing, but their offensive coordinator says they are -- for Matthew Stafford's attention.
