According to Jordan Schultz, the Lions are signing Donovan Peoples-Jones back to the practice squad. And according to Mike Garafolo, Detroit is also signing quarterback Jake Fromm to the practice squad.
The stories of these two players couldn’t be any different. Peoples-Jones was acquired by the Lions via trade in the middle of the 2023 season. He entered this offseason as one of the favorites to win the a starting receiver job in replacement of Josh Reynolds.
