Detroit Lions quarterback Hendon Hooker has looked noticeably better in training camp than he did in Organized Team Activities in the spring. He’s more accurate, he looks like he’s in better command of the offense, and he just looks more comfortable. Some of this is likely due to normal progression as a younger player going through his first offseason program.
But it turns out some of his improvement could simply be getting healthier. Hooker revealed to Justin Rogers of Detroit Football Network that on the very first day of OTAs in the spring, he suffered a dislocated finger on his throwing hand.
