Oft-injured defensive end Ziggy Ansah will miss the start of Detroit Lions training camp for the second straight year.
The Lions placed Ansah and wide receiver Andy Jones on the active/physically unable to perform list Tuesday, and put rookie fullback Nick Bawden on injured reserve with a torn ACL.
Ansah underwent knee surgery after the 2017 season and was held out of team drills all spring.
He missed all of training camp last year with a knee injury, when he practiced for the first time days before a season-opening win against the Arizona Cardinals, and has started the season on the PUP list three times in his six-year career.
