This offseason, the Detroit Lions’ team facility in Allen Park got an official sponsorship from Meijer. The upgraded “Meijer Performance Center” came with a brand-new look for fans at training camp, but what seemed to garner the most attention was the brand new lectern (podium) in the media room.
As soon as Dan Campbell walked up to it the first time, it was a hit.
“This is a huge podium,” Campbell said back in July.
That’s when the memes start rolling in and jokes were being cracked.
