Detroit Lions' playoff hopes slip to 2%: 'So you're saying there's a chance'

The Detroit Lions' slim playoff hopes fell to almost infinitesimal levels with Sunday's loss to the Green Bay Packers, but that has not dampened interim head coach Darrell Bevell's outlook on the final three games.

“So you’re saying there’s a chance, right?" Bevell said Monday. "That’s why we play these games."

The Lions have a 2% chance to make the postseason, according to the New York Times playoff simulator, and could have their hopes dashed altogether with a loss to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

At 5-8, the Lions likely need to win out to have a shot at making the postseason, and even then, their chances will be remote.
