Detroit Lions plan to keep working Frank Ragnow at guard -- for now

ALLEN PARK -- With Graham Glasgow's interior position in limbo this spring, the Lions went out and spent their first draft pick of the Matt Patricia era on a college center.

They surprised some people when they started Arkansas product Frank Ragnow at left guard, but as coaches say, voluntary camp is often a time to experiment. On the heels of training camp, though, and the breakout of pads in a few days, the Lions are going to keep the process going.

For now.

"He's been primarily at guard and that is the way we will probably continue to go at this point," offensive line coach Jeff Davidson said.
