In what has become a December tradition, the Detroit Lions placed defensive tackle Da'Shawn Hand on injured reserve Saturday.
Hand suffered an ankle injury in last week's loss to the Green Bay Packers and was ruled out for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans.
This is the third straight season that Hand, who missed three games earlier this year with a groin injury, will finish the season on injured reserve.

In 2018, Hand missed the final three games with a sprained MCL in his right knee.
