In the past two weeks the Detroit Lions have placed Ezekiel Ansah, Michael Roberts, Da’Shawn Hand and Kerryon Johnson on injured reserve.
Saturday, two more players joined them. Wide receiver Bruce Ellington and defensive back Charles Washington were both placed on IR, ending their seasons.
Ellington was added back in early November in the hope to help replace Golden Tate after the Lions opted to trade him. Ellington played in four games for Detroit, totally 23 catches and 132 yards during his time.
