On Tuesday, the Detroit Lions made a handful of roster moves, mostly transactions that were expected.
First, the Lions placed both linebacker Derrick Barnes and defensive end Marcus Davenport on injured reserve. Davenport’s season is expected to be done, after suffering a reported tricep tear. It is unclear how much time Barnes, who suffered a knee injury against the Cardinals, will miss.
“We’re still getting second opinions on that,” coach Dan Campbell said on Monday. “What we know right now is he’s going to be down a little while. We know that, and then it’s just a matter of these opinions keep coming back, how long is that going to be?
