Detroit Lions offensive lineman reportedly suffers season-ending injury

The Detroit Lions reserve offensive line continues to take some serious hits. According to a report from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, offensive tackle Connor Galvin suffered a torn MCL on Thursday night, and it will require season-ending surgery.

Galvin was rolled up on in the second half of the Lions’ preseason opener against the New York Giants. He couldn’t put any weight on his leg and was carted off.

His injury is now the second season-ender for the Lions backup offensive linemen. Earlier in training camp, Netane Muti suffered a season-ending shoulder injury that landed him on injured reserve.
