There’s always a risk of reading too much into what goes on in preseason games, but halfway through August it wouldn’t be totally wrong to call Kenny Golladay the Lions’ No. 2 receiver.
Golladay, Marvin Jones and Golden Tate are all going to play plenty this year, and I’ve said they’ll all catch at least 60 passes. The Lions’ best offensive set is when they have three wide receivers on the field.
But when they only have two receivers in the game, it appears that Jones and Golladay will be the two.
I don’t know if that technically makes Tate the No.
