As expected, the Detroit Lions and New York Giants will hold a pair of joint practices in August in preparation for their Week 1 preseason game. Both Lions coach Dan Campbell and Giants coach Brian Daboll confirmed the news in separate press conferences on Thursday.
“So the Giants, we will go to the New York Giants,” Campbell said. “That’ll be Week 1 preseason. We’ll go out there for a couple of days.”
This will be the second year in a row that the Lions and Giants will hold joint practices. Last year, the Giants came to Allen Park for a pair of spirited practices.
