Frank Ragnow's first practice against the Oakland Raiders last week didn't go all that well. He struggled in one-on-one pass-rush drills for the first time in training camp, and that uneven play carried over to other parts of practice.
But by the time he played the last of his 26 reps in Friday's preseason opener, the Detroit Lions' first-round pick was back looking and feeling like a major upgrade to the team's offensive line again.
