Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford is leading a new offensive system under coordinator Darrell Bevell, and the transition is a work in progress.
Speaking to reporters after the third day of minicamp on Thursday, the quarterback put into perspective the necessity for him to learn the new offense like everyone else despite his longevity.
“That’s my biggest challenge at the moment,” Stafford said. “Obviously I’m trying to lead this entire team, but at the same time I’ve got a lot of work on my plate to make sure we get everybody in the right spots and make sure we’re producing at a high level on offense.
