Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford showed up sick and hoarse in the locker room Wednesday, but he had a full practice and didn’t seem concerned about the effects of his illness ahead of Sunday’s road game against the Oakland Raiders.
“I think it’ll be fine by Sunday,” he said.
Stafford started his 135th straight game in Sunday’s 31-26 win over the New York Giants, which put him second among active NFL quarterbacks.
