Detroit Lions running back Matt Asiata walked off the practice field Wednesday in Allen Park and tried to explain what his role would be. With everything so new to Asiata since the Lions signed him Monday to a one-year deal, it wasn’t easy for him to define his future.
But he tried.
“It’s hard to say right now because it’s OTAs,” he said, “but I’m just trying to improve with the plays and trying to get out here and try to gain the respect from the guys out here and try to do my best out here.
