ATLANTA — Luke Willson has done media night at the Super Bowl a handful of times before.
Twice, Willson dealt with the circus as a player, in 2014, when he won a championship as a wide-eyed rookie with the Seattle Seahawks, and again the following year when he lost a heart-breaker to the New England Patriots.
But as annoying as media night can be, when reporters dress as superheroes and comedians pelt players with asinine questions, Willson much prefers that to the role he played Monday – as a guest correspondent for the Canadian media conglomerate Sportsnet.
