ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions will open the 2017 season with at least six new offensive and defensive starters, according to the club's first official depth chart of the year.
Jarrad Davis, a first-round pick out of Florida, leads the way at middle linebacker. Free-agent pickup Paul Worrilow will flank on him on the strong side, while Cornelius Washington takes over for the injured Kerry Hyder at defensive end.
On offense, prized free agents Rick Wagner (right tackle) and T.J. Lang (right guard) lead the way for a reworked offensive line. Another newcomer, Greg Robinson, won the left tackle job in the wake of the Taylor Decker injury.
