Detroit Lions, linebacker Jarrad Davis might not be on same page regarding his role

The Detroit Lions are standing behind Jarrad Davis with their words, if not their actions.

Davis saw a reduced role at linebacker in last week's 20-13 loss to the Chicago Bears, playing his fewest defensive snaps, by percentage, this season for a game that he's been healthy.

But despite rotating with fellow linebackers Christian Jones and Jahlani Tavai, defensive coordinator Paul Pasqualoni said Tuesday he still considers Davis a starter.
