It was his third NFL game, he scored his first career punt-return touchdown a week earlier, and when eight of his teammates took a knee during the playing of the national anthem before a game at Ford Field in 2017, Jamal Agnew stood down the sideline, minding his business, linking arms with two of his teammates.
"I feel like I was scared to speak my voice (then), speak my stance just because of what other people would think," Agnew said Friday.
