The Detroit Lions interviewed three internal candidates for their general manager job this week: vice president of player personnel Kyle O'Brien, director of player personnel Lance Newmark and director of pro scouting Rob Lohman.
O'Brien, Newmark and Lohman have served as the Lions' de facto general manager trio since the firings of Bob Quinn and Matt Patricia last month.
Interim Lions coach Darrell Bevell said he meets with O'Brien, Newmark and Lohman, along with team president Rod Wood and vice president of football administration Mike Disner, to discuss daily transactions and practice reports.
