As a light snow fell on the Detroit Lions’ practice field, the team was short four contributors during Wednesday’s practice.
Punter Sam Martin was noticeably absent, explaining the Lions’ recent signing of Matt Wile to the practice squad. Lions head coach Matt Patricia said that Martin was experiencing some abdomen soreness after the game and they’re holding him out for the time being.
Additionally, the Lions were without defensive tackle Da’Shawn Hand, safety Tracy Walker and guard Joe Dahl.
Dahl and Hand left Sunday’s game with injuries of their own.
