Not only were the Detroit Lions big losers this weekend after a lackluster performance against the Chicago Bears, but several players incurred injuries that left the team quite shorthanded at the end of the game.
One of the most notable injuries was to wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr., who came up gimpy after a fourth quarter catch. The team announced he was questionable to return with a knee injury, but he did not make it back on the field.
There is good news, however, as ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that Jones did not suffer an MCL or ACL tear.
