Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell offered several injury updates during his Sunday afternoon press conference, following a physical preseason game against the New York Giants.
The worst news came for edge rusher Nate Lynn and offensive tackle Connor Galvin. Per Campbell, both players suffered injuries that he expects to end their 2024 season. Galvin suffered a torn MCL that will require surgery, while Lynn was carted off with an unspecified shoulder injury.
UPDATE: Lynn has been waived with an injury designation, while Galvin has officially been placed on injured reserve.
