Kudos to whoever predicted the Detroit Lions would carry six wide receivers. I bet that was no one. How about only three defensive tackles? Six safeties? Slice it however you want, but this roster looks substandard. Changes are likely on the way, but when?
I can agree with how the offense is divvied up for the exception of the receiver position. There’s no need for six especially when the Lions need help on defense and already have four tight ends.
Speaking of defense, Detroit’s depth at defensive tackle is razor-thin. Granted, some of the defensive ends, which appears weaker, can kick inside.
