It's been a 40-year wait for Detroit Lions fans to see Alex Karras get into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
So Ted Karras, a fourth-year offensive tackle with the New England Patriots, wasn’t going to waste any time Wednesday when he jogged off the field and started chatting about his great-uncle, the Lions’ late, great defensive tackle.
“I’m stumping for Alex this year,” said Karras, a fourth-year offensive tackle.
