ALLEN PARK -- Glover Quin has the longest active starting streak at his position in the NFL, but the Detroit Lions safety won't jeopardize his team's chances to keep his iron-man status intact.
Quin suffered an ankle injury in the first quarter of the Lions' 45-14 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday and had to be removed from the game. After the contest, he was wearing a walking boot on his left foot. It's the same ankle he injured in 2013 and required offseason surgery to fix.
"Once you hurt an ankle, you kind of continue to hurt it," Quin said.
